Monday's Child.

THE NAME OF THIS POEM IS SELDOM REMEMBERED. IT IS:
X
MONDAY'S CHILD
x
Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for a living,
But the child born on the Sabbath day is bonny and blithe and good each day.

Just a reminder that you might like to take a look at my other Blog, Minny Blue.

Thanks for posting the whole poem; now, I've got to find my birth certificate!

Darn. Just six more hours and I could have been a Sabbath child!

I didn't know you had another blog...popping over right now...

Hi Lyn,

I didn't tell you that I'm a Wednesday's child too, did I? We can be woeful together!

Hi Jane-
Yes, what day were you born? I myself have tried to overcome the fearsome "woe"...

Hi Willow-
You are perfect just as you are!

Hi Derrick-

Sabbath baby here. I DO try to be good each day......but a woeful one keeps putting up recipes that break my will power. :D

Hi Natalie-
You are a good girl, and for that you get a nice reward..look at it that way!

When I was looking for a name for my little praying monk statue, I came across 'Dawa', Monday's child. I immediately liked it, as I bought it on a Monday.

I didn't know you had another blog either; will go there now.

I loved your justification for the chocolate bread pudding - Wednesday's child! I've never heard of the chocolate variety, but we had a ton of regular bread pudding growing up - you have another blog? egads!, I must get there :)

Hi Alaine-
As they say, there are no coincidences..Dawa..I like it too!

Hi Jeane-
There's no such thing as too much bread pudding..I'm thinking of making everything with some chocolate in it!! Yeah, I'm nuts...

What a lovely bouncy poem. I can't remember on which day of the week I was born, but I'll take the chocolate cake from you previous post anyway :-).

Greetings from London.
