A GREAT  BIG THANK YOU TO CatLadyLarewa blogger of great talent and humor for honoring me with the Beautiful Blogger Award!  I sent the bouquet of flowers to myself!! I'm just a big kid at heart...
Here's what I have to do when I accept the award:

1.  Thank and link to the person who gave me the award...Thank you, CatLadyLarew.

         4. Lucy Fur Leaps
         5. Nature Nutz
         6. One Pink Goose

4.  State 7 things about myself:

     1.  In the 1980's I resembled a DJ who worked here in NYC.  Got into everything free!
      2.  I'm a LDH/ Reiki Healer, (Long Distance Healer).
      3.  I'm first cousin once removed from the guy who invented Snapple.  He became a  zillionaire, nothing changed for me.
      4.  I have a double lens implant..can see 20/20 now, almost blind before!!  Don't hesitate to take care of yourself!
      5.  Best movie of the year:  "The Hurt Locker".  What's that got to do with me?  It's what I think!
      6.  As a tourist in Monte Carlo casino, was mistaken for ??? and paparazzi swarmed, clicked!
      7.  Listed in psychic reference book and Woman's World as one of top 10 psychics in NYC...wooooo....

What, The Curtains?

HOW CAN IT BE THAT ALL SIX MEMBERS OF MONTE PYTHON,
the British comedy troupe, yes!! all six members of the original group, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin and Graham Chapman, will be present in New York in the fall to celebrate their 40th Anniversary? Graham Chapman, who died in 1989, will somehow be present. If you doubt it, well, that's your problem. I personally am cheering on a sort of ghostly presence, (not a surprise!), maybe carrying a rather dead parrot.
x
I am giddy with anticipation of the event, to be held on Oct.15, at the Ziegfeld Theater. The reunion will feature a screening, announced by the Independent Film Channel (IFC), of the documentary,"Monte Python: Almost The Truth, (The Lawyers Cut)." The surviving members, (hmm), will take part in a Q&A session and receive an award from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.
x
We'll also be able to catch a six hour TV version of the documentary, which will have its premiere on IFC on Oct.18
x
Tickets anyone? Or will you catch it on TV? I'll have to do both, because I'm already involved in my own laugh fest!!

Fab!!

OH, KAT! OF POETIKAT'S INVISIBLE
KEEPSAKES...How totally great to be
sprinkled with fabulousness by you...
you sure know how to pass an award on,
one that you so deservedly have received!
x
Sharing and taking a bow alongside, "Lenorenevermore",
and "One Happy Panda" pleases me no end. In case
you've missed it, we are Bloggers who demonstrate
features of fancy and interest, we are captivating and unique,
and friendly as well. Ta da...
x
Thank you and congratulations to all!

x
Now I'm going to do a complete switch and dive
into a subject that couldn't be further away from
frivolity. I will say immediately that I am ashamed
and amazed at having encountered, in a rather
innocuous blog, an offensive, small minded and
downright bigoted point of view.
x
What's really difficult is that this is generally a blog
that I follow, usually presents creative ideas. Not
yesterday. I was just blind sighted by the totally
unnecessary insertion of a hateful remark, preceded
by a cowardly, "forgive me for saying this", and
saying it.
x
It's easy to remove oneself from a "follow" list.
Click, it's over. That's what I usually do in my
"real" life when I encounter a particular kind of
ugliness, especially with someone I hardly know.
Click. Good-bye. I feel that if you don't know by
now how really stupid you are, I'm not waiting
around to teach you.
x
Should I have confronted this person, pinned the
subject down, told them blog to blog what I think?
I just feel that too much anger would take over.
Maybe this will somehow drift on over, and blogger
will get it.

Premio Dardos

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxPREMIO DARDOS AWARD!
X
I am so pleased to accept the Premio Dardos Award from
Marty at Dark Star Discovery, a blog of depth and
great imagination. Thank you so much, Marty! I will
gratefully add this to my list. One can not have too many
awards. I joyfully welcome one more!!
x
This award values, as I do, the efforts made by the
Blogger. For me the literary, cultural, and artistic
attributes are joined by heart, mind, and humor,
to produce a Blog of merit.
x
I have a little list, on which I will place some Bloggers
names. If you accept the Premio Dardos, please post
on your blog the person from whom you received it.
Moi. And passing it onward is important. The number
could be as many as 15. I really haven't counted, but
it's up there. But do pass onward! And let the recipients
know that they've been chosen. I salute those listed.
x
I thoroughly enjoy many others for their wit and unique
point of view.

Just Lovely!

IMAGINE GETTING A MODERATELY GOOD
NIGHT'S SLEEP...(MILO, my cat, USUALLY
HAS DIFFERENT IDEAS)...AWAKENING,
x
plugging in to the electronic universe, and finding
an award placed in my name in Bloggywood. Even
my dreams held no such rewards. I won some sort
of lottery, ( money would have been good!).
Well at least I don't have to pay taxes on this one!
x
And how did this come about? The estimable Derrick,
of Melrose Musings, after receiving this Lovely Blog
Award, which he so deserves for his constantly
stimulating and informative (and lovely) posts,
has generously passed this award onwards !
And I, in the company of some really talented bloggy
folk, am amongst the chosen!
A good night's sleep has its rewards!
x
Thank you Derrick, for this surprise. I so
appreciate your constant comments. Bloggy
friends are like angels...we know they're there,
even though we don't see them!
x
I am thinking right this minute about whom to
pass this on to.

Award !

THANK YOU, LINDA S. SOCHA/
PSYCHE CONNECTIONS
X
I AM ALMOST AT A LOSS
FOR WORDS !
STUMBLING OUT OF SLEEPY OBLIVION, I TRIED ONCE MORE TO BEAT MILO (CAT)
TO THE COMPUTER, (HE OVERSEES ALL MY MOVES). I SWITCHED ON, SAW FAMILIAR NAME IN MAIL,AND WHAT'S THIS???
X
Tucked into comments from the estimable
Linda S. Socha/Psyche Connections is a note
that I, (imagine) have been given
one of the awards for
BEST BLOG THINKER !
x
So, two months of stumbling to keep up with
blogging has produced this! Wow!!
I'm more than surprised. And extremely grateful.
We do all know how much we treasure even a nod
of recognition, how it can inform a day, a life.
x
So thank you dear Linda, and I apologize for not
knowing how to highlight your Blog.
Obviously, I'll never get an award
for Best Techie.
