MAGPIE/ Prompt #59

                                        illustration/ tess kincaid/ Magpie Tales #59

Will there ever be a final word for the Mona Lisa puzzle?  I think so...Mag has teased my mind once more..thanks, Tess Kincaid!!

2 Haikus

MONA:

Leonardo, dear,
I've got a toothache today,
so please hurry up.

LEONARDO:

Mona, my dear one,
do wipe that frown off your face.
Big smile please, say cheese!

Toothache or maybe a baby's abdominal pain?--about the same expression, no doubt. ;-) Nice job, Lynn.

Another theory is that she was suffering from Bell's Palsy, a condition which paralyses one of the facial nerves. Quite a lot of hits on Google for "Mone Lisa, Bell's Palsy"
The bubble gum's a splendid edit!

Hi Trellissimo-
Theories will go on forever! Wish I could take credit for the bubblegum..I found it..thanks!!
