there is a line in the Bible...can't remember it exactly and I don't know chapter or verse but it says something like: "A merry spirit is a balm..."

What a defiant first verse! What a beautiful work of art! Many thanks.

It's easier to toss rose petals than peach pits!!! Bit wobbly on the path..thank you.

Dave-
I am sort of a stubborn person, sometimes for a good reason. Thanks so much for your comment.

Wonderful statement poem!! I LOVE IT!

They should make lip balm for the body. Or do thet and they call it lotion?
I think not! as balm is thicker and creates a harbor for obstructive elements!

Marti-
Thanks for coming by...no obstructive elements here!

"to let them dry and blow to dust"--That is the mankind's way dear, but I am young and under the influence of alcohol most of the time--My understanding is limited, alas. Splendid piece Lyn.

But your heart and mind and TALENT are in the right place!!The game for all of us is to let the best in us survive. Sometimes an ugly Karma gets so pushy..I can't let that win! Thank you, dear Clay....
