Therapy

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxMe and my therapist !

AFTER UNDERGOING SUCCESSFUL
EYE SURGERY LAST WEEK, IT WAS
POINTED OUT TO ME HOW IMPORTANT
IT IS TO KEEP MY EYES MOIST.
DRY EYE SYNDROME, A MOST
UNCOMFORTABLE CONDITION, IS TO
BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS.
X
I am extremely fortunate to have been
provided with an accomplished therapist,
with whom I have already begun treatment.
The direct application of sea water,
instead of eye drops is such a "green" idea!
x
Pleased to say that I am thankfully reaping
the benefits of this advanced therapy.
Nary a dry eye in sight! Next visit will
introduce a whole new set of applications
that I am really looking forward to.
x
When asked, I am so happy to be able
to say that I'm doing well!

Hi Lyn! Glad your surgery was succesful and you are recovering well.
Like you, I suffer from DES - have often wakened up to that sudden agony of feeling like a piece of rock salt is in your eye and there's nothing that will clear it. It just seems to sear away at your eyeball until it chooses to subside (if you can get drops into it).
I keep drops by my bedside and use them 2 or 3 times through the night. It's no fun, is it?
Where do you get the sea water? I'm intrigued by this idea.

Glad to see you back.

Kat

Tell ya what Lyn, if you walked into my laundry, and saw the dirty washing and ironing for seven people waiting for you, your eyes would be wet everyday like mine! WAHHHHH
No really, hope it is all good for you.

Hi Kat-
Yes, that scratchy, itchy mess, like a meteor has landed! Sea water? A or P! Just grab a therapist like mine, and GO!
Thank you....

High Natalie-
I am crying already, at the daunting tasks you have to face..
As you can see, I tend to heal by laughing! When that doesn't work, I don't know what I'll do!!
Thanks for your good wishes...
