LIFE AGAIN/ Poetry Potluck #45
THE THEME this week at Poetry Potluck #45 is NATURE and LIFE. Here's a Haiku and a Pantoum.
SLICE
A slice of life please.
Pile everything atop it,
I'll take it to go...
LIFE AGAIN
I catch a sliver of light
as birth receives me.
It looks just as bright
as the light of Nirvana.
As birth receives me,
shapes and forms wave me on,
as the light of Nirvana
seems the same as life.
Shapes and forms wave me on.
I'm hoping to enter paradise,
seems the same as life.
Maybe I'm wide of the mark.
I'm hoping to enter paradise,
it looks just as bright.
Maybe I'm wide of the mark.
I catch a sliver of light.

Love 'em!
Big fan of the formals here. You've done a great job with these!
Nice piece
I like both of these, and am always amazed at the detailed picture which can be painted with so few words. Excellent writing.
Both were well worth the read. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Bryce-
This was a case of forms saving me..especally the Pantoum, which sort of writes itself at some point..goes right into my unconscious..if you know what I mean!
