MAGPIE...Prompt #126
Yesterday's Dreams/ Jack Vettriano
THANK YOU, Tess, for this Magpie Tales.........
PANDORA'S MEDITATION
Let's live.
Let's try life again.
I wake up at the first slap,
squint at God's Tree,
it's Eden again.
Eternity absorbs me
between
drawing in a gulp of air
and puffing out.
Breath is all I have,
the only proof that I exist.
Everything else is embellishment.
Untie the box.
A broken China doll tumbles out,
her neck embroidered by tattoos.
Love you, love you baby.
My breath is all I have.

That broken china doll embroidered by tattoos is telling ~ Interesting title post too ~
Dream-like and haunting...sometimes I feel like breath is all I have...
Intriguing... I like the repetition ot breath is all I have.
dang china dolls...i find them so haunting....and a wicked touch in this...gave me a bit of a shiver....
Hi Heaven-
Thanks kindly for your comment! And my symbols..
Hi Laurie-
Wrote this after meditating..had breath on my mind...thanks!
Hi Tess..
The one sure thing!! Thanks so much for this..
Hi Brian-
Glad about the shiver! Thank you..
Hey! Hey! It is delightfully eery. That's why I like it so much!
Unsettling. And good.
=)
I really like this!
Hi Helena-
I like that combo...eery and delightful...thanks!!
Hi Sue-
Thanks..I've done my job!!
Hi Mama Zen-
So glad you do! Thanks...
very unsettling-well done!
Oooh, here there is a desperate need for love, contrasted with a tenuous ability to breathe and an overall feeling of instability. Cleverly crafted, Lyn. I love what you did with the prompt.
Stunning writing, and breath is all this woman needs!
Hi Kathe W.
Happy when that happens! Thanks so much...
Hi Linda-
I think you see this one very well...thanks!
Hi Karen S.-
And the only thing she can count on...thank you!
A little pressure built up, a bit chilling. The yearning for love involves 'two souls' in tandem. Only one voicing it out is no go! Wonderful write, Lyn!
Hank
The ancient Greeks called it Pneuma. Very powerful little Dakini emergimg there too , this is very magically powerful, Lyn, you have dived deep for this one, and brought something quite powerful to the world, thanks
Hi kaykuala-
Indeed, trying to see eye to eye is hard to do...thank you!
Hi Kutamun-
You really got it! Of course she knows that all she's got is the pneuma...her soul..all the rest is maya...and I know that all my females are dancing Dakinis, even if they don't know it yet...traversing the sky with enlightenment. Awaken!!
So thank you so much for looking at her dance.
A wonderful write Lyn! Thought provoking for sure! :-)
