Good morning Lyn,
I wouldn't have known that these cars are GM marques. I saw a small Chevrolet at the weekend and presumed that it must be GM to be in UK - and I just checked to make sure! Pity that such a large company is in danger of disappearing.
We have suffered differently over the years in UK, as all our 'symbols of Britain' (Rolls Royce, Bentley, Jaguar, Range Rover) have been sold off to outside companies!
Hi Derrick-
It's amazing how things change..we thought certain things would be forever!
Love the older models..so much charisma!!
My dad had an Olds like that!
Hi Willow-
What a great car that was..why do they all look so classy now?
I love cars built up through the 70's - autos are some of the best sculpture on the planet!
Hi Jeane-
You are so right..especially Moderne..the lines and proportion!!Thanks for your point of view!!
So, it's true that GM are going down. and look at these beauties. It's funny that we still have some of these cars rolling on the streets of Cuba, and the rest of Cuba, too. Many thanks for the post.
Greetings from London.
Hi to A Cuban-
How colorful it must be to take a drive around Havana! These cars are pure romance! Greetings and thanks!!
I love the pink caddie! I don't think I've seen one before.
Jennifer
Hi Jennifer-
