I KNOW
X
Now I know what dying is like.
A stream of air caressed my lips
rushing towards eternity.
x
Fingers stretched out
as white as tile
to balance
as I float an inch above the rest
and turn to ask,
where am I going?
x
Am I still here?
I drop back down to earth,
my knees most prayerful
before I stretch out to rest.
I look in the mirror. Still standing.
Undone, done. So ends the world.
x
And hit...return.

Oh, that's a killer opening line, Lyn! I like this one a lot. Very thought provoking.

This one just wrote itself..I'm sure you know what I mean!
Dip was eaten without baseball..rained out! Thanks for all..
A beautiful poem combining spirit and technology. You nailed it, in my view, with that last line, hit return. I wish we could have the same chance someday.
Greetings from London.
Greetings to a Cuban-
Thank you..to start all over? I think we do..that's karma! I'm one of those..and I pray to finally not come back, unless I do as a Bodhisattva!
