MAGPIE...Prompt #126

                                              Yesterday's Dreams/ Jack Vettriano

THANK YOU, Tess, for this Magpie Tales.........

PANDORA'S MEDITATION

Let's live.
Let's try life again.
I wake up at the first slap,
squint at God's Tree,
it's Eden again.

Eternity absorbs me
between
drawing in a gulp of air
and puffing out.

Breath is all I have,
the only proof that I exist.
Everything else is embellishment.
Untie the box.

A broken China doll tumbles out,
her neck embroidered by tattoos.

Love you, love you baby.
My breath is all I have.

  13. Oooh, here there is a desperate need for love, contrasted with a tenuous ability to breathe and an overall feeling of instability. Cleverly crafted, Lyn. I love what you did with the prompt.

  18. A little pressure built up, a bit chilling. The yearning for love involves 'two souls' in tandem. Only one voicing it out is no go! Wonderful write, Lyn!

  21. Hi Kutamun-
You really got it! Of course she knows that all she's got is the pneuma...her soul..all the rest is maya...and I know that all my females are dancing Dakinis, even if they don't know it yet...traversing the sky with enlightenment. Awaken!!
So thank you so much for looking at her dance.
