                                   Wheat Field with Rising Sun/ Vincent Van Gogh/ 1889

RUNNING MAN

Vincent, rise from Eve's sin,
the blistering dawn baptizes you.

Sprint across the field
until your breath spits blood,
lie down with seedlings
in the purple furrows.

The yellow stain is a blazing sun
that tears up skin,
peels and spins your mind.

Black night,
starry night,
surpassing heaven,

a canvas tucked into
the maker's hand,

blessing the folly
of the running man.

    My favorite theme ART and all the eccentricity's that go with it.. often people read into a book or a painting what they themselves only know, -- but here you captured the essence of the artist as he pours forth his own genius on canvas,
